Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Atid Ivri (the "Service") at atidivri.web.app and its apps. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Atid Ivri provides daily news summaries rewritten in simplified ("easy") Hebrew for language learners, along with word translations, audio, and flashcard tools. Summaries are produced with automated (AI) assistance from third-party news sources and are simplified for learning. They are not a substitute for original reporting and may omit detail or nuance; for authoritative news, consult the original sources. The Service is provided for educational purposes.
2. Accounts
Free reading does not require an account. To purchase or restore Premium you sign in with Google or an email link. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
3. Subscriptions, trial & billing
- Premium is a subscription priced at $4.99 USD per month, billed through Stripe.
- Free trial. New subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly subscription.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. Your payment method is charged at the start of each period.
- Cancellation. You may cancel any time via the in-app "Manage subscription" link (the Stripe customer portal). Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Premium through the end of the current paid period.
- Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated.
- Price changes. We may change pricing; changes apply to future billing periods and we will give reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: reselling or redistributing the content; attempting to bypass access controls or the subscription; scraping or bulk-downloading content; or interfering with the Service's operation.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, its original text, design, and software are owned by Atid Ivri and protected by law. News content is derived from third-party sources that retain their rights; certain recipe content is used under its original open license and attributed accordingly. Your personal flashcards and notes remain yours.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that content is accurate, complete, or error-free, that translations are perfect, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. Content is for language learning, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atid Ivri and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
